    Tuesday 29 May, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and Catherine Bréchignac, Permanent Secretary of the French Science Academy, renewed the partnership agreement signed by the two bodies in May 2015 and created a new CNES Astrophysics & Space Science Award.

    Wednesday 27 June in Paris, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and Bruno Maquart, President of Universcience, signed a new partnership agreement to step up cooperation between their two organizations with a view to encouraging science and technology outreach and disseminating knowledge to a wide audience, notably younger generations.

    The CNES delegation to the maritime economy convention in Nice, led by its Chairman & CEO Philippe Baptiste, was welcomed to the Monaco Oceanographic Museum by its Director, Robert Calcagno, Tuesday 14 September. After a guided tour and discussions centred on future areas for cooperation, Philippe Baptiste and Robert Calcagno signed a partnership agreement aimed at gaining new insights into the oceans through space technologies, in the presence of His Excellency Laurent Stefanini, France’s Ambassador to Monaco.
